Kristy K. Johnson, a Client Financial Associate, joined MGL Consulting in 2000. Ms. Johnson frequently serves as a Financial and Operations Principal (FINOP) for clients, and has over 10 years’ experience in accounting and financial statement preparation. Her responsibilities include the preparation of financial statements, net capital computations, FOCUS IIA Reports and Schedule l Reports.
Ms. Johnson ensures the timely and accurate preparation and/or filing of various financial records and financial reports as required by regulatory agencies. Ms. Johnson works closely with MGL’s Risk Management Committee to ensure clients meet ongoing guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining MGL, Ms. Johnson was employed with Dana L. Garrett, Attorney at Law, as a Staff Accountant where her responsibilities included preparing financial statements, W-2s, payroll tax reports, and assembling tax returns. She also held similar positions with National Mortgage Link and Bilstat where her responsibilities included accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank account reconciliations.
Ms. Johnson graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, and completed her Master of Business Administration in Accounting in May 2001.
