Most states require that a name be designated for the insurance agency while
some states approve the name of the broker dealer for the insurance agency.
If the state requires a separate entity for the insurance agency, once the
articles of incorporation or organization are obtained, MGL can assist by
completing the insurance agency application and applicable state forms
for your firm and submitting
them to an appointing insurance company for authorization and submission
to the state. Once the license is issued, if additional appointments to
other insurance carriers are needed, MGL will initiate the appointment paperwork,
submit them to the insurance carrier and follow through to the completion
of the process. If your firm is already established as an insurance agency, we can handle the processing of any additional non-resident firm/agency licenses and appointments so that your firm may expand their business to additional states if desired.
